Spicy Rosemary Nuts

(Makes 3 c. [750 ml])

1 c. (250 ml) almonds (skins on)
1 c. (250 ml) walnuts
1 c. (250 ml) cashews
2 tbsp. (30 ml) chopped fresh rosemary
1 tbsp. (15 ml) melted butter
2 tsp. (10 ml) maple syrup
2 tsp. (10 ml) sea salt
½ tsp. (5 ml) cayenne or crushed red chiles

1.      Combine all ingredients in a bowl and stir well to combine.
2.       Turn out onto a parchment-lined baking sheet. Bake in a 350F (175C) oven 20 to 25 minutes. Watch carefully the last five minutes of baking.
