|2 c.||grated old cheddar cheese|
|1/2 c.||softened butter|
|1/4 tsp.||cayenne pepper or ground chill flakes|
|1 c.||all-purpose flour|
|2/3 c.||Jill's Table Apple Tamarind Chutney|
|shredded cheddar for garnish|
|cilantro for garnish|
Using an electric mixer or food processor, beat together the cheese, butter and cayenne until blended.
Stir in the flour just until the mixture forms a dough.
Shape into 36 balls. Press into mini muffin tins to form tart shells. Spoon 1 tsp. (5 ml) of chutney into each shell. Bake at 400F. (200C) for 10 minutes.
Let cool slightly before removing from muffin tin.
Garnish with cheddar and cilantro and serve.
